Is there a practical limit to the amount of knowledge a human can learn?
@Solus My evolutionary points are based off of various Evolutionary Psychology theories that propose "the cognitive system operates at all times to optimize the adaptation of the behavior of the organism" (John R. Anderson 1990 p. 28). A short summary of these theories can be found here starting on page 783
Do children show top-down processing as much as adults do?
@JeromyAnglim What I meant by top-down processing is the mind's propensity to force the data it receives to match what it is expecting. I do not mean to ask if children are suggestible in actions, but rather if they are suggestible in perception, such as the lyrics example I gave above.
