Is it reasonable to have a factor with only two levels in a carry-over design for an fMRI study? Thank you very much for your quick reply. My study is based on the Aguirre's paper you cited, but I'm not still confident about my design matrix and the recurrence of the factor with only 2 level among the other 2 factors with 3 levels.
