comment When we are sad, why do we feel pain in our stomachs?
"The concentration on the exhalation creates great energy in the lower abdominal region. The body's energy center is not in the head or upper body but in the major nerve groups located from the solar plexus to the lower abdomen. All martial arts are traditionally based on this breathing. Strong action of the body-mind takes place during the exhalation. During inhalation, a person is weakest and most vulnerable." nozt.org/zazen.shtml#anchor443082

comment Can scientific evidence support concepts of the soul?
@caseyr547: "because it would be non-material..." that makes science very narrow and constricted.

comment Does law of attraction have psychological basis?
@nick-stauner: I completely get the skepticism...but it is hard to ignore certain life experiences that defy common scientific findings. I am not saying there is a formula for this either but rather elements that perhaps science has yet to explore or is outside of our awareness. Did you get a chance to watch the video? Re: "it means whatever vibrations we create are an infinitesimal fraction of overall activity. " yes, I do agree but also relative to the size of the world your awareness is part of.

is it possible to reach homeostasis and/or cognitive closure while living with more infinite unanswered questions an or concrete explanations?

comment Does law of attraction have psychological basis?
@nick-stauner: the idea is that everything in reality is energetic vibration, a thought a physical object an intent...the "vibrations" that we have free will in creating do effect what we experience to some degree, this I know for sure.

comment Does law of attraction have psychological basis?
@ArtemKaznatcheev: Science and religion are both pointing towards the mind/spirit as separate from the brain/body. There are clearly gaps in science as well as religion - but it is not black and white or mutually exclusive. and many people have experienced these gaps. While I do not agree with the gimmic part of concept (i.e. make more money instantly by thinking about it) there is a fundamental truth to the root. I am very interested to have u watch, please, even if you say no to every part of it, open minded, (then tear it apart with science) - youtube.com/watch?v=ltGstp5GaFc

comment Why is an image of a face without features disturbing?
I didn't think twice about the face. What is disturbing is that I am not as smart as these CEOs - 15M for nothing just about breaks the laws of nature and science.

@nick-stauner: I have had some unexplainable experiences with the Secret concept, so be careful to not count it out. There is definitely a correlation to quantum physics and our thoughts.

comment Why does a person get obsessive for those who don't take interest in him?
"In some cases of BPD the loved one may swing between I love you and I absolutely hate you."....however, that also sounds like every teen - young 20s relationship.
