comment What is the cognitive mechanism that creates strong feelings, from environmental organization and appearance?
nice, that does help a lot. However, the first thing that came to mind is that absorption seems to be about getting lost in ones own imagination....is their correlation to getting "lost" in ones environment or being absorbed in the same fashions as in the imagination?

comment How does cognitive science explain distant intentionality and brain function in recipients?
@nick-stauner: even if the probability is some very small number, can we be sure something like this does not exist in all of humanity?

comment What makes people easily subscribe to pseudoscientific theories?
@forbidden-overseer: some do help and work for people and there are gaps in science. There is an element of art to life that has real outcomes and can not always be organized in thought.

comment How does cognitive science explain distant intentionality and brain function in recipients?
@nick-stauner: ok thanks I will take a look at that one. Also, if there are possibilities of individuals, what evidence proves they can't have an experience that breaks currently know physics. I am trying to look at both sides equally but there may be a gap somewhere...

@nick-stauner: Also, is it possible that it can be a real thing for one persons consciousness (a small percentage) and not available in anothers?

@nick-stauner: thanks for the references, I will need to take a look at each of them in more detail. As for "The direct acknowledgement that biological science can't explain their results", is that really a deal breaker? Also, now how do I explain to myself these experiences that I have had myself?
