Why can a user seamlessly switch from one language input to another on the same keyboard? @StevenJeuris Tell me about it :) But I'm more of a quality programmer than a quantity programmer... |

Why can a user seamlessly switch from one language input to another on the same keyboard? Sorry for being too wide on the subject. The question was not supposed to be on the language topic, just the part on context switching. I thought it would be interesting to know how human can switch from one context to another using the same tool. And the only example I could think of was the keyboard. Should I revise this question according to your comments, and be more specific? |

Is The magical number 7 still valid? +1 for another reference to the same conclusion: three or four items. |

Do men and women differ in their desire to have children? Well, the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. Meaning, I couldn't find anything. But there are numerous of studies made of gender differences in the desire to mate, but that's not really what you're asking. Good question! |

Is it possible to quantify cognitive bias? Thanx, Andy. Just what I was asking for. Is there a general standard, or something almost everybody in the field uses? |
