comment Does personality imply an inclination to be an expert in one field or average in “all” fields?
Just to clarify, (a) are you asking whether people in general prefer to be experts or generalists? (b) are you asking about the existence of individual differences in this tendency? Also, what do you mean by people being "born" a particular way given that we all grow up in a family and a society that shapes our motivations?

@chuck I want to make a comment about the irony in your comment potentially giving rise to a flag, but I worry that the irony in my comment might also be flagged.

@ChuckSherrington just letting you know that your comment was flagged as "rude/offensive". :-) I think the joke that jonsca and Chuck are the same person may have been missed.

comment Are there any cognitive test (or test suites) available on the iPad?
On one of the pages, Joggle lists that is has many academic citations. Is this for Joggle's version of the task or for the task in general? Do you know of any academic references that have explicitly validated the Joggle implementation of these tasks?

comment What is the effect of scolding kids
I generally agree with what you say, but what is your evidence to support these claims? The challenge on this site is to provide theoretical or research evidence to support such claims.
