comment Psychometric scale with items in sets where responses imply a rank order of items
Could you further elaborate? What does it mean to give a response of 0, 1,2,3,4 or 5? What does M represent? What do the "x's" represent in your updated example?

revised How are activities involving toy blocks linked the development of intelligence in children?
tweaked title to emphasise the question; all questions on this site assume that a good answer should make reference to empirical research; thus the request for research is usually made in the body of the question

comment Do measures of Big 5 personality have a positive bias towards extraverted, conscientious, emotionally stable, ageeable and open individuals?
Thanks. The article seems to provide standard psychometric information: i.e., the factor structure of the test, gender differences, whether test scores predict relevant criteria including job satisfaction and counter productive work behaviour; it doesn't directly seem to go into whether items have a positivity bias.

Just as a small side point, you are welcome to write an answer to your own question, particularly if it is well reasoned.

What do you mean by (a) "practicing the brain"? and (b) "brain power"?
