Do we understand the non-subjective mechanisms behind pleasure and pain? Doesn't Pavlovian response cover this, and dopamine release from toward/away goals? Or are you thinking of something else? |

Are spaced flashcards effective for learning? I haven't seen the forgetting curve before but it matches the Supermemo algorithm almost exactly. Having read amazon.co.uk/Your-Memory-How-Works-Improve/dp/1569246297/… active recall seems to be quite a common theme/proven theory in learning. |
