Kurt Gödel and Georg Cantor were also "geniuses" with some kind of mental "disorder" (loosely speaking) but that doesn't prove any myth about crazy genius.

A science would have 2 different observers get same results from same experiment. If the answer depends on who you ask, I wouldn't call it science.
