It's true that you may be assertive only in certain settings and not others, so the statistics would have to take this into account and, for example, report about assertiveness within a couple, or at the workplace, etc.
Jan 20	comment	Is there any study that models the interaction among assertive, passive, aggressive and passive-aggressive people? The definition of the types describes how they iteract with a generic person, doesn't describe what happens when, for example, a passive-aggressive person interacts with an aggressive one. At least I've not found anything like that so far.
