There are some concerning aspects about this answer. Computers don't naturally lack any ability that humans do per se. that's a bit meaningless. Also, genetic algorithms don't have much to do with it, they are an optimisation routine, and human's ability to recognise objects in a sequence is not related to any "genetic quality". If you believe these things, I'd advise you to provide references, because I am not familiar wiht any such argument in the literature.

Either term is commonly used - a google search reveals results for the "other race effect" as well, and there are plenty of academic references. Don't imagine it matters either way, however thanks for adding the link.

comment How to reliably measure working memory capacity?
Most of this is self evident and well known, differences between the so called "phonological loop" and "visuo spatial sketchpad" are easy to find, although the analogies that seperation is based on are extremely dodgy IMO. I've added on further reference and some other info.
