When people say goodbye and walk away from each other, either the person will just walk away without looking back or they will look back. Looking back would appear to be a normal thing for people who care about each other.

I have been searching to see if there is any research on the psychology behind personality types and propensity to look back.

Is anybody able to find some research on this?
